As a businesswoman, she worked for Mars, Incorporated for 30 years, becoming Executive Vice President in 2012.
Gareth Jenkins was born in Llanidloes and raised in Trefeglwys on a hill sheep farm. He went to the local primary school followed by a secondary education at Llanidloes High School ending with a spell as head boy!
He studied dentistry in Scotland and spent 35 years in general NHS practice in Shrewsbury.

Always involved in the arts and entertainment he has been a performing magician since the age of 11 till the present day with performances delivered all over Wales and the UK including appearances in Norway, Bulgaria, Romania, Patagonia, South Korea, USA, France and Moldova.
He is chairman of the Gregynog Young Musicians Competition and for the last 30 years has arranged concerts in Shrewsbury – promoting the talents of young singers and instrumentalists.
Margaret is the long standing secretary of the Montgomeryshire Society and organises the programme of events and administers the membership. Margaret is a retired teacher.
