Aileen, a former President of The Montgomeryshire Society, was elected as Chairperson in 2021.
Aileen grew up outside Cardiff but her roots are in Montgomeryshire. She is a now an independent non-executive director on several boards, including Welsh National Opera and is notable for becoming the first woman to join the board of the Welsh

Aileen grew up outside Cardiff but her roots are in Montgomeryshire. She is a now an independent non-executive director on several boards, including Welsh National Opera and is notable for becoming the first woman to join the board of the Welsh Rugby Union in 2015.
As a businesswoman, she worked for Mars, Incorporated for 30 years, becoming Executive Vice President in 2012.

His grandfather was born in Llanfyllin, and sat as Montgomeryshire’s MP for 32 years (also leading the o
Mr. Christopher Clement-Davies is extremely proud of his strong family roots in Montgomeryshire and Wales. His Welsh parents brought him up with a passionate attachment to the country, its people, history, culture and glorious scenery. His grandfather was born in Llanfyllin, and sat as Montgomeryshire’s MP for 32 years (also leading the old Liberal Party for 11 of them). His constituency base in Meifod, Plas Dyffryn, was still a family home in Christopher’s youth. He has countless happy memories associated with it. He is honoured and delighted to serve as the Montgomeryshire Society’s President.
Christopher is an international legal and policy adviser, consultant and investor.

Margaret is the long-standing secretary of the Montgomeryshire Society and organises the programme of events and administers the membership. She was brought up on a farm in the Dovey Valley an area she holds dear. During her career as a primary school teacher, she became a deputy head of a school in Edgware before moving to teach in Eal

She was brought up on a farm in the Dovey Valley an area she holds dear. During her career as a primary school teacher, she became a deputy head of a school in Edgware before moving to teach in Ealing. On retirement, she was appointed Chair of the governing body of the Welsh School in London for six years. She is a member of the Gorsedd.
